Hairspray Logo

After 61/2 years and 2,641 performances at the Neil Simon Theatre, Hairspray says goodbye to Broadway. In the final weeks, Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur returned to reprise their Tony Award winning performances and close the show.

It was a bittersweet moment for Nicole who joined the company just short of their first anniversary in 2003. She worked with just about every one that has performed in the show. Some well known names include Harvey Fierstein, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Mathew Morrison, Kathy Brier, George Wendt, Michael McKeon, Tevin Campbell, Hilary Duff, Diana Digarmo, Darlene Love, Ashley Parker Angel and Lance Bass among others.

After taking a final bow with the rest of her cast mates, they were joined on stage by the producers, the creative team and dozens of Hairspray alumni (including the Vegas, Toronto and the national touring companies). It was a beautiful final performance and homecoming. When the curtain came down the entire Hairspray family celebrated at a party given by the producers.

A wonderful time (and Karaoke) was had by all. Hairspray will be missed and always lovingly remembered.
